Xavier Brendon Alonzo was killed April 17, 2014. Eighteen-years-old and a junior at Cesar Chavez High School, Xavier was on his way to school when the car he was riding in was rear ended by a suspected drunk driver and pushed into the intersection with on coming traffic.

Xavier enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, reading, fishing and going to movies with friends.

Xavier is survived by his parents Timothy Steven Alonzo, Victoria Posada, his siblings Melissa Marie Alonzo, Margaret Mary Alonzo, Timmy Steven Alonzo, David Alonzo, Brandon Alonzo, Bo Alonzo, Nicholas Alonzo, Brenda Alonzo, Destiny Alonzo, Stevie Posada, Robert Barreta, and Angle Barreta, and grandparents Richard and Brenda Posada and Freddy Alvarez Alonzo and Mary Theresa Montavo.

A memorial service will be held at Cesar Chavez High School on April 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.

Xavier will be remembered for being a bright, friendly, kind, thoughtful and hardworking person.
