In what way do you connect with family and friends?
Many people find different ways of connecting with friends and family all around the world. What better way to connect with them than to communicate through social media. There’s hundreds of ways to do that, but the most used are Instagram, Snap chat, Facebook, and/or Twitter. I decided to take a survey, and ask 100 people here at my school, Cesar Chavez High School. From my results, Instagram was the most used out of the other options with 30 votes.
Social media is a very good way to be able to not just message each other but to be able to send videos to each other. Instagram, Snap chat, Facebook, and Twitter (Social Media has advanced a lot now, more than back then) allow you to do these things, which was a reason for me to choose these options.
“I chose Snap chat because it allows you to do basically anything on it, message people, send videos, and you’re able to video chat with anyone,” Mylinh Nguyen ’16 student at Cesar Chavez High School said.
After going around asking students about which was their most used social network, Instagram was the top choice with a 30 percent of votes. The second choice was “all of the above” with 20 percent, Snap chat with 18 percent, Facebook with 17 percent, and their least favorite was Twitter with a 15 percent.
It was surprising to see that people didn’t choose “all of the above” since teens are always stuck on their phone, as it seems after seeing the results they must be stuck on just one social network 24/7. Although, every social network has its own good use.
