It is that time of year again to celebrate the holiday season. This year at Chavez we will have the 8 days of Christmas brought to you by the PLUS and Leadership teams. Starting on December 6th and going through December 18th there will be many fun activities across campus. Every year Chavez comes out with a Christmas bang across campus from decorating classroom doors, to music playing in classrooms as students work, or to dressing in the holiday cheer. All activities that are being held by PLUS will be in G122 , the PLUS lounge. As stated by our PLUS advisor “I like to make awareness of our PLUS lounge, others get to know more about PLUS itself. Our lounge is just a fun and safe place to hang out in this nasty weather and we get to bond and meet new faces.”

Here are the following activities that will be held in the PLUS lounge:

• Friday Dec.6 – movie and hot chocolate
• Monday Dec.9 – holiday scavenger hunt
• Tuesday Dec.10 – game day (board games, cards, dominoes)
• Wednesday Dec.11 – coloring book
• Friday Dec.13 – movie and popcorn
• Monday Dec.16 – gift wrap challenge
• Tuesday Dec.17 – saran wrap gift challenge
• Wednesday Dec.18 – musical chairs

Chavez’s leadership will also have their Christmas spirit week for the last week before Christmas Break. Here is a list of what they will have:

• Monday Dec.16 – ugly sweater day
• Tuesday  Dec.17 – pajama day
• Wednesday Dec.18 – Christmas colors
