If you are a fan of the horror genre, out of this world makeup and effects, and enjoy getting scared out of your mind the Son of Monsterpalooza event may be one you want to look into.

Son of Monsterpalooza will be held in Burbank California at the Marriott Burbank Convention Center and Hotel. It spans the weekend of September 14-16. The event is $25 dollars everyday, but on Saturday only it will rise to $30 at the door. Buying tickets for all the days would only cost $60 dollars for the three day event. Friday will span from 6pm to 11pm to get the horror thrill. Saturday and Sunday will be from 11am to 6pm which is enough time to find anything that catches your eyes.

Some special features for the event will be Son of Conjoined, The Killer Klowns from Outer Space 30th Anniversary, and Eli Roth’s History of Horror to name a few. Also many special guest appearances will be available to answer questions, take photos, and give autographs. Featured guest are as follows: Steve Dash (Friday the 13th Part 2), Thomas Jane (The Mist), Daniel Hugh Kelly (Cujo), Christine Elise (Child’s Play 2, Cult of Chucky), and the Chiodo Brothers most known for creating Killer Klowns from Outer Space which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. But there are many more special guest to see.

This event is full of realism and in depth special effects from within the horror community. Therefore, Son of Monsterpalooza might not be for the faint of heart. However, it is a way of spreading the genre into showing audiences talent from many sources such as creating new movies or makeup to help the talent get into character. Any way you see it, Son of Monsterpalooza will be a horrifying time, if you are willing to join the fright.
