The AVID club is an extension of the AVID program at CCHS. Although students currently enrolled and involved in an academic AVID class are preferred and encouraged to join, you do not necessarily have to be an AVID student to attend the meetings, which are held every Wednesday in E223 after school. The AVID club serves as a social circle for AVID students to discuss fundraising ideas, field trips, and academic content. The club is student-governed; members discuss fundraisers as a whole and advertise by spreading flyers and information in classrooms.
