The Black Student Union is a club on campus that meets every Tuesday at 2:30 in M2. The members of the club encourages all members to participate in community service. The club is currently ran by club president Krystal Perkins.

The club is to inform students about the many opportunities for a higher education and to pursue their dreams,” stated Miss Perkins.

The Black Student Union is a club to bring comfort to the black students on campus and to make them feel more welcomed. Black Student union is a great way to give back to your community, the club is currently working on a toy drive and canned food drive. It is not a requirement to be a black student as all Chavez students are welcomed and encouraged to join the Black Student Union. Join the Black Student Union today for more educational opportunities!
