I Dream of Jeannie sitcom review

The word sitcom means a  situation comedy. The TV show that was the most enjoyable was “I dream of Jeannie.” The premise of this show took place in Florida. This old comedy was and if you’re still watching this sitcom, is really funny.

Two of the main characters would be a man who is an astronaut and a very beautiful lady who has been locked up in a bottle for 2,000. Nelson is a tall white handsome man who is dressed very well. Jeannie is always in a pink and purple dress with like a light hat. Barbra Eden. The mans name is Larry Hagman.

The minor characters inter act with the main characters would have to be nelsons co workers and Nelson had told them that he had found a real live genie and they come over and to see if it is really true or not. Nelson’s work mates think that he is crazy and so that they give him a vacation to clear his mind.

In episode one Nelson was going to go on this rocket ship to the moon when it failed to reach its destination and he landed on the beach. While he was on the beach he had found this purple bottle moving and he picks it up and rubs it. A genie comes out and she is not speaking English. To get her to speak English, Nelson had to say “I wish.” Nelson wished for a helicopter and leaves Jeannie but she some how gets on the helicopter and lands with him and he is all freaked out. When he gets home from work with his girlfriend, Jeannie is in the shower and she leaves him because there was another girl in the house. Then Nelson tells his workmates and they don’t believe him that he has a Jeannie then they come over and she won’t come out. Then the workmates say he is crazy and give him a vacation.

This sitcom is better than “Bewitched”, “The Brady Bunch”, and “The Partridge Family” because it’s more entertaining, funny, the characters are better looking and it applies to all age groups, even little kids to adults.

Why not bring this show into the 21st century. This show would get plenty of views and nice comments on it. Leave the same characters, but different actors. This show could probably get three to four seasons on air today.
