The Kansas City chiefs are headed to the Superbowl after a fantastic win against a tough Tennessee Titans team with a score of 35-24. Kansas City was down three in the first quarter, with a score of 10-7. The titans star Derrick Henry who was the leader in rushing yards had 19 carries 69 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter. The quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw 31 times and had 21 completions and threw 2 touchdowns and kept the score only at 24.

When the first quarter was over the chiefs had realized how bad they were down and how important the game was and if winning they would have a chance to head to the superbowl. Second quarter had begun and Patrick Mahomes the star quarterback was playing fantastic he threw a touchdown to one of the fastest receivers in the NFL Tyreek Hill which he had 2 touchdowns with 67 yards he played a good game giving the Chiefs 14 point. Pattrick Mahomes had thrown 35 times and had 23 completions with no interceptions and three touchdowns and one rushing touchdown before the half had ended.

During the fourth quarter the titans were trying to get back on the game and try to win but the team had no chance to get back because the chiefs were playing really good and including the defense that had stopped the star running back from the titans Derrick Henry and quarterback Tannehill ending the game and making the chiefs the AFC Champions and giving them a ticket to the Superbowl 54 were later they found out that they were going to play the San Francisco 49ers.

The Superbowl will be held in Miami on February 2nd, 2020. The Kansas City Chiefs right now have an amazing team on offense with an all pro quarterback and receivers that have top notch speed. For example, Tyreek Hill who was an all pro and an NFL all rookie in 2016. On the other hand the Chiefs defense is looking tough as well. The best defender on the Chiefs, former Michigan Wolverine Frank Clark, plays defensive end and has had an amazing year. The Chiefs defense deserves a lot of credit for stopping the leagues 2019 rushing leader and holding him to only 69 yards.

Currently the Chiefs believe that they have the best defensive team in the Superbowl and they will try to prove it when they face off against the San Francisco 49ers. The chiefs announced that none of their players will attend the 2020 Pro Bowl and will begin their practice as soon as possible to start getting ready to face a tough rivalry in Miami.

The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t gone to the super bowl since the year 1969 they only won three super bowls and are looking to win there forth super bowl but they are going against a team that has won 5 super bowl and was in the Superbowl in 2012 but had a devastating lost against the Baltimore Ravens. We have a good match up coming in the Superbowl this game will be decided on defense and offense on both teams.
