Sophomore Angelique Torres  participates in cross country for her first year.

When asked why she joined cross county, Angelique said, “I was forced to join by my mother and by my brother.”

When I asked Angelique what she enjoys about cross county, she said, ” I enjoy cross country because everyone on the team is friendly and treats you like family.”

When I asked Angelique what advice dose she have for incoming runners, she said, ” Don’t drink milk, don’t start fast during a race and pace yourself.”

When I asked Angelique what does she think the team needs to work on, she said, “Our team needs to work on being on time.”
