In this generation, everyone around the world is either watching Hulu or Netflix on there phone, laptop, smart TV, and now even gaming systems, but which one is better? Today we are going to delve into the battle of Netflix vs Hulu and see who the real champ of streaming media is. 

The two biggest streaming media companies are Hulu and Netflix. Being the best comes down to prices and offerings. Netflix’s prices are based on quality of the video. For basic with standard resolution it is $7.99 a month. However, with that plan you can only use one device at a time. Netflix though offers more plans to suit needs and since they base it off of the quality of resolution they have another plan for $10.99 for HD videos on two devices. If that is still not enough for you and you want even better quality you will have to pay $13.99 for Ultra HD streaming on four device.

Hulu on the other hand offers two options regardless of quality of video. They offer a regular option for $7.99 per month or a commercial free version at $11.99 per month. Hulu also has added Live TV and sports that includes content from ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC as well as channels including CBS sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, and TNT. Personally, I believe Hulu to be the better option because Netflix doesn’t have live sports.

Netflix is also removing shows they don’t own full rights to such as the Daredevil Universe they created within the Marvel series. They have now cancelled Daredevil, Punisher, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. While Netflix does not offer live TV, they do offer an extensive catalogue of new and old series and movies. Here are examples of some of the classics that Netflix shows:  Full House, Liv and Maddie, Friends, Thor Ragnorok, Solo Star Wars, the Interview, 007s, the Office, Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural.

But for the newer generation Hulu has lots of TV shows and all the anime you can think of. They even have Food shows like Cake War, Top Chef, Cake Boss, and even the show Master Chef staring one of the best chefs in the world Gordon Ramsay. If you have the phone company Sprint you also automatically get Hulu for Free.
