Students are expected to complete work, do projects, or study at home. However, a challenge many students seem to face is procrastination. Out of the 100 students surveyed, only one person answered that they do not procrastinate (frankly I think they’re lying.)

The other 99 students  were asked to choose which was the best way to procrastinate: watching T.V./ Netflix, sleeping, using my phone, eating, or other.

About one half of the students agreed that using their phone was the best way to procrastinate. Many students say its most convenient to be on their phone.

“Being on my phone because it’s usually more fun then doing the homework. Also it’s pretty convenient because the phone is just there with all the apps you enjoy,” said Nienna Willingham ’17.

Thirteen percent of students prefer to watch T.V. or Netflix than do their homework. After reading the survey, about six students joked about watching T.V or Netflix by saying the popular phrase of “Netflix and Chill” and how fun it is. Other students added their own versions of the phrase by adding “Hulu and Hang” and “On-demand and Chill” to the survey and putting their tally mark next to it.
