For 2021, Dodge is going one step further and introducing the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye. This version adds 80 horsepower over the 2021 Charger Hellcat’s new 717 hp rating. In total the new Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye will have 797 horsepower. This is the fastest and most powerful production sedan on today’s market with its top speed of 203 mph. Its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 has a 2.4-liter IHI supercharger that has been replaced by a larger 2.7-liter. It produces more boost, up to 14.5 psi compared to 11.6 psi and the redline is also increased from 6,200 to 6,500 rpm.

The Redeye needs more fuel too, so instead of one dual stage fuel pump the Redeye gets two. The cold air intake plumbed near the wheel liner on the Charger Redeye allows for 18 percent more air flow over the normal Hellcat engine. Bigger axles and a strengthened driveshaft provide increases in torque capacity of 20 percent and 15 percent. These changes lead to the total output of 797 horsepower and 707 lb ft of torque.

Dodge says that it expects the Redeye to do a quarter mile in 10.6 seconds at 129 miles per hour. The Charger Hellcat Redeye will only come out in the widebody form. Dodge hasn’t mentioned anything about the price of the car yet but a lot of people are predicting that it will be around $85,590. You will be able to start ordering your Charger Hellcat Redeye this fall at your local Dodge dealerships and the vehicles will start arriving early 2021.
