The game is created by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The game had an early access in December of 2014 only available on certain platforms. The game is now available for certain computer platforms. New information has now announced that Subnautica will release on Ps4 and Xbox One on December 7th, 2018 and is available for pre-order for $29.99.
