Spotify is one of the biggest streaming platforms globally, with over 700 million listeners. 2025 was the year of very different music, new artists, and new songs coming out, so let’s break down each section.

Spotify Top Global Artist-Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny has claimed the Top Artist title once again for the fourth time on Spotify with 19.8 billion streams in 2025 and his new album. Past wins being 2020, 2021, and 2022. 

In second place, we have Taylor Swift and The Weeknd, making it to 3rd place.

Spotify Top Songs Globally- Die With A Smile- Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars

Die With A Smile wins the title of Top Song Globally with 1.7 billion streams. 

In second place, Birds with a Feather by Billie Eilish, which was 3rd place in 2024 but rose to 2nd in 2025, and APT by ROSE and Bruno Mars is in 3rd place. 

Spotify Top Albums Globally- DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny’s album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, was the top album globally, showing its emotion, music, and culture to non-Spanish speakers, leaving them affected by it. 

For second place, KPop Demon Hunters and Hit Me Hard And Soft by Billie Eillish placing in 3rd.

Spotify Top Artist US-Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has won the title of Top Artist in the US for the 3rd time in a row, with 18 billion streams, in 2023 and 2024. 

In second place was Drake, and third was Morgan Wallen.

Spotify Top Songs US- Luther by Kendrick Lamar and SZA

Luther had over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify, hitting a billion in June 2025. 

Second place goes to Die With a Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, and third place to Ordinary by Alex Warren 

Spotify Top Albums US- I’m the Problem by Morgan Wallen

I’m the Problem reached 3.5 billion streams on Spotify alone by late December, becoming the most-streamed country album of 2025. 

In Second place, SOS Deluxe: LANA by SZA, and in third, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny.
