Handsome, men, murders, and mysteries continue to draw you in week after week in the new hit show Rosewood. Rosewood aired September 23, 2015. Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. is a private pathologist working in Miami, Florida in high demand with law enforcement. He suffers from a terminal heart affliction and can divine a person’s secrets from any tiny medical detail. He helps the Miami police department solve its toughest cases, whether they want his input or not, and teams up with maverick detective Annalise Villa to find clues to murders that no one else can. .It’s a partnership that could get more personal, if Rosewood can crack through Det. Villa’s tough shell. 

Major Actors

Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr played by Morris Chestnut is the main character a private pathologist who works with the local police. Jaina Lee Ortiz as Det. Annalise Villa is one of the other main characters who starts developing feelings for Rosewood. Gabrielle Dennis plays as Pippy Rosewood, she is Beaumonts younger sister. The role of Tara Milly Izikoff, Pippy’s girlfriend is played by Anna Konkle. Lorraine Toussaint plays Beaumont’s mother Donna Rosewood.

Supporting Characters

Nicole Ari Parker is one of the much needed supporting characters and play Dr. Rosewood’s girlfriend. Domenick Lombardozzi  plays as Captain Ira Hornstock, which is head of department over Detective Villa.

Season 1 Episode 3-  “Have-Nots and Hematomas”

Det. Villa arrests a young man for murder. When Rosie looks at him, he senses he’s innocent and knows something was overlooked. He offers to help for free although Villa doesn’t necessarily want his help.Regardless of how much Villa tries to to deny it, she needs Rosewood on her team. While Rosewood could sometimes be overly confident, he knows his pathology. As he first talks to the man and learns he has a chip on his shoulder but he gains his trust. He looks at the crime scene and figures that he couldn’t have killed the victim in the manner the police thinks he did. Villa sees a therapist not knowing she’s Rosie’s girlfriend because she is high-tempered. Det. Villa confides in Dr. Rosewood’s girlfriend about her feeling for him.
