Phở is a Vietnamese noddle soup, consisting of broth, linguine shaped rice noodles called banh pho, a few herbs, and meat, primarily served with either beef, chicken and seafood. Pho is a popular food in Vietnam and the specialty of a number of restaurant chains around the world. Southern Vietnamese eat it for breakfast and occasionally lunch, wherea those from the Nothern Vietnam consumes it anytime of day.
Pho Lucky is a famous restaurant of every Vietnamese who’s living in Stockton. It has been established for more than 25 years and Vietnamese bosses. It’s located on 8032 El Dorado St, Stockton.
Pho origineted in the early 20th century in Vietnam, Southeast of Hanoi in Nam Dinh Province, then a subtantial textile market. The traditional home of pho is reputed to be the villages of Van Cu and Dao Cu in Dong Xuan commune, Nam Truc District, and Nam Dinh Province. According to the villagers, pho was eating in Van Cu before the French colonial period when it was popularized.
Pho is combination of many materials. the smell of soup has the scent of beef, dry toast star dry anise, and cinnamon sticks. It tastes a little bit sweet from the onions, gingers and bones. It has light brown color because of the materials. The noodle smells like rice or actually it doesn’t have any smell. It has a white color and taste like rice. About the garnishes, Vietnamese dishes are typically served with lots of greens, herbs, vegetables and various other accompaniment, such as dipping sauces, hot and spicy pastes, a queeeze of lime, green onions, sweet basil, peppers, bean sprouts, cilantro and culantro. Fish sauce and hot chili sauce maybe added to taste as accompaniment. All of these materials combined to make a pho bowl has a little bit sour, sweet, salty, spicy.
Pho has many of prices depend on what kinds and what size of pho do you want. The extra largest is $9.95, the regular large is $7.95 and the smallest size is $6.25. Pho Lucky opens at 8 a.m. and closse at 9 p.m. They don’t have off day because Vietnamese customers come here everyday.
Pho Lucky is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Stockton. Siting inside Pho Lucky and eating pho bowl in winter is the best feeling ever. Come to Pho Lucky restaurant when you’re hungry.

Best pho around. Always clean inside, never had a problem here this is my favorite pho restaurant.
