USA Network. This show knows how to brighten up anyone’s day! It was first aired on July 6, 2006 and its last episode on March 26, 2014. It is one of the best detective show ever!

James Roday plays as the amazing psychic, Shawn Spencer, who magically solves cases for the Police Department of Santa Barbra (SPBD). Dule Hill plays as his psychic subordinate and his childhood best friend, Burton Guster. They work with Detective Carlton Lassiter played by Timothy Omundson, and Detective Juliet O’Hara played by Maggie Lawson under the order of the chief of the SBPD, Chief Vick who is played by Kirsten Nelson. Together they bring viewers humor and entertainment.

In the show James Roday and Dule Hill has been best friends since childhood and now they own an agency called “Psych.” They take requests about cases and “psychically” solves them. However, Roday will only take requests that interest him, which is ironic because they are living on edge. Roday always does extreme activities that Hill refuses to do but in the end, ends up doing it anyways, and, as always it turns out to be good and funny experience. Before joining the agency with Roday, Hill worked with pharmaceutical sales. Hill actually didnt want to join Roday in his agency but after solving once case he was hooked!

Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, and Kirsten Nelson are all part of the SPBD. Omundson being head detective and Lawson working with him as his partner, and Nelson being Chief  of SBPD. Omundson pretends like he hates Roday and Hill but deep down on the inside he really likes them. As a matter of fact he is awed by how they psychically solve cases. Lawson is Omundson’s partner and strives to be the best detective, and she does achieve that. She ends up falling in love with Roday! Nelson is probably one of the coolest chief ever. Although she is chief, she treats her team like family.

When Shawn Spencer (Roday) is accused of committing a crime he actually solved, he convinces the police that he is  a psychic and with the help of his partner Burton “Gus” Guster (Hill) they work with the SBPD to solve cases.

The last episode of Psych had one of the best endings ever, though it was sad seeing that it was its last episode. Nonetheless, it was still entertaining, funny, and tearful.  The last episode “The Break-Up” starts as Shawn (Roday) recording himself recounting a story. He starts from the very beginning when he and Gus (Hill) opened up Psych. He sees how happy Gus is with his life and he knows it is his time to move on and find his happiness. He tells his girlfriend Juliet (Lawson) that he will leave Santa Barbara to be with her. Shawn has yet to tell his best friend, but just as he was about to, Lassiter (Omundson) interrupts them and says he needs help on a murder case. On the way Gus tries to ask Shawn what the bad news was but Shawn avoids it. When they finally solve the case, Shawn still couldn’t mutter up the courage to tell Gus that he is leaving, so he leaves him with a video recounting their adventures solving cases. Shawn made a video for everyone, recounting the memories he had shared with them. Shawn arrived in San Francisco but his surprise Gus followed him there. He decided Psych was his passion so he will move to San Francisco along with Shawn to keep both Psych and their friendship alive. Lastly, while solving a case, Shawn proposes to Juliet, but before she says yes, the ring gets stolen by a mugger and immediately they all jump in a car chasing after it! A new chapter in their life has begun.
