Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument memorializes the site of the Battle of Little Bighorn which took place on June 25-26, 1876. The Little Bighorn Battle was a fight between the Lakota and Cheyenne Indians, and also with the States Seventh Cavalrys. More than 260 soldiers were killed. This Monument lies within the Crow Indian Reservation in southeastern Montana.

There are many things to do around this attraction such as The Crow Indian Reservation, the Big Horn County Historical Museum, Bighorn Canyon National Recreational Area, Custer Battlefield Museum, Devils Canyon Overlook and Fort Custer Golf Course. There is also a tour. The hours of operations are  April – May: 8:00am – 6:00pm, June – August:
8:00am – 9:00pm, September – October: 8:00am – 6:00pm, November – March: 8:00am – 4:30pm.
