The Varsity team started slow this year losing 2 of there first three 3 games. Something needed to change if they wanted a chance to win league. That change occurred and they went on a 4 game winning streak beating Edison, Stagg, Bear Creek, and McNair. Chavez boys ended up with the L and with that went their chances to win league. However, the boys still had a chance for playoffs they just had to secure the win in their last game against Edison. The Chavez boys had an amazing game and beat Edison 3-1 to secure their pass to playoffs for the second year in a row. With a record of 6-3-1 Chavez was on their way to the playoffs to play the first seed, the Turlock Bulldogs who were undefeated on the season.
