Jordan Sanders never quits on what he loves

Jordan Sanders is 15 years old in the Freshmen Academy SLC, who plays basketball for the Cesar Chavez High School Freshmen Boys team as power forward, representing number 20. Sanders has been playing basketball since he was in the third grade. His favorite NBA Basketball team is the Miami Heat. His role models are his dad and his older brother.

“I was influenced to play basketball by my older brother, he gave me an inspiration to play basketball and never quit on what I love,” says Sanders.

In order to stay motivated Sanders goes to practice everyday and pushes himself to never give up. In order to maintain a healthy diet, Sanders enjoys running and doing weight training. His hobbies other than playing basketball is to play football and run. His goals for the future is to play college basketball.

“A motivational quote that keeps me going is “Don’t run away from challenges, run over them. — unknown,” says Sanders.
