Malichai Beard plays full back and defensive end for Cesar Chavez high school junior varsity team. Beard says the past games were unpredictable, although they didn’t get a win this time they definitely strive for success the next game.

He says, “Even though you never know what’s expected, you just do it, because it proves that you can do anything”.

Beard says football is his passion.

“I’ve only been playing for a year, and i feel like its my destiny”, says beard.

Beard says he believes his team has potential, and believes they could do great this season if they try hard, and not ne nervous.
