Can we all take a moment to congratulate Ms. Rivera! She has been a teacher here at Cesar Chavez High School since its founding in 2005. This year marks her 20th anniversary of teaching, and she has never transferred elsewhere, talk about loyalty. You can enroll in her Graphic Design class located in A212.
During Ms. Rivera’s high school years, she cherished her social life, spending time with friends. Relatable right? Though that was not the only thing she did. She was also a part of her school’s softball team & had a great experience. But we are all aware that high school does not last forever, so let’s move on. Ms. Rivera began her college journey at San Joaquin Delta College and later transferred to the University of Phoenix. However, you will see a University of Hawaii flag being represented in her classroom.
The best advice she has received & passed on to her classes is, “Choose your battles wisely,” meaning reflect logically on when to stand your ground or let it go before you act on impulse during a conflict or disagreement. Her students inspire Ms. Rivera’s dedication to the Titan family, as they encourage her to be the best positive role model she can be.
A special thank you & round of applause to Ms. Rivera for her decades of loyalty to the Titans!
