Camping is a fun thing to do with family. I went camping at Don Pedro Lake in La Grange with my family for a week and it was a lot of fun camping. It was a long drive from Stockton to La Grange, it took about six hours to get there. I got to spend time with my family.

Summer is very hot so swimming is one of the best things to do. When I heard we were going swimming I was excited. I can swim for a very long time. Swimming is one of the best things to do in summer. The water feels very cool instead of the summer heat.

Visiting family is a good thing to do in the summer. I visited family, some distant cousins I haven’t seen in a couple of years. I talked a lot to my cousins. It was fun thing to do in the summer. It was a lot of fun catching up with them.

Having a barbecue is great to do. My family had a barbecue by a lake and it was fun. My family cooked a lot of food like beef, chicken, and corn it was good. It was a great way to spend time with family.
