A Walk Through The Draft (Post Draft) 6

NFL Draft Opinion/Review

This is the final of six blogs and though its been fun, all good things come to an end. At the end of this blog i will make a huge prediction so make sure you get to the bottom.

15th overall pick- Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers used the 15th overall pick to select Ryan Shazier, Outside Linebacker, Ohio State University, and this pick came to no surprise. They have been trying to rebuild their formerly great linebacker core for a few years now. I think he will be an average player in the NFL. As long as the Ohio State curse doesn’t catch up with him.

16th overall pick- Dallas Cowboys

With everyone expecting Jerry Jones to fall to his ego yet again and draft Johnny Manziel. What does Jones do? Proves us wrong and drafts Zack Martin, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame, with the 16th overall pick. Jerry must not have gotten the memo that his team didn’t need a tackle of all positions, they need a player that CAN tackle. Zack Martin will be a decent tackle in this league, and hopefully he becomes great at some point.

And for the bonus team…..

25th overall pick- San Diego Chargers

The Chargers were a very good team last year, but had a horrendous defensive secondary. With the 25th pick they selected Jason Verrett, Corner back, TCU, he is also the fastest corner back in this draft. Verrett has very good covering skill, and hes a decent tackler. His main flaw is he is a smaller guy but that didn’t hurt him in college. Overall i loved this pick for the Chargers and can’t wait for the season to start.

Just a quick heads up, the Chargers are my favorite team and in my expert opinion they will be very good this year. I said up at the top that there would be a huge prediction, so here it is……

Chargers will be the 2014-2015 Superbowl Champions.
