A Walk Through The Draft (Post Draft) 1

NFL Draft Opinion/Review

Last time when i posted the intro to the NFL Draft, and it was supposed to be a preview of who i think will get drafted and where i thought where they would go. Well due to computer problems, i was not able to do that. Now this is after the Draft and i will walk through the draft picks and how i feel about them, and who they should have picked instead.

With the 1st overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, The Houston Texans select……

— Roger Goodell

1st overall pick- Houston Texans

The Houston Texans selected the monster Jadeveon Clowney, Defensive End, South Carolina University, with the number one pick. This selection was expected by most of the experts as well as most casual fans. The pick seems to be the easy pick to make but i disagree. This kid has had problems with his work ethic in the past and has been handed opportunities his whole life because hes a great athlete. Mark my words, when things start getting tough for this prospect, he will quit, and forever be known as a bust.

2nd overall pick- St. Louis Rams

The Rams selected Greg Robinson, Offensive Tackle, Auburn University, at number two. It came at a pretty big surprise since the Rams coach, Jeff Fisher, has never drafted a lineman in the first round. Many expected them to take Sammy Watkins or Khalil Mack, But ill talk more about them later. Overall i felt this was a very good pick up for them and i feel that they made the right choice. I expect the Rams to be a much improved team this year. As a side note, The Rams also selected Michael Sam with the 249th pick in the draft. Sam became the first openly gay player to be drafted in all of the major sports.

Blog number 2 will consist of me covering the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, and the Oakland Raiders.
