Thomas Torres  was killed April 15, 2014. Seventeen-years-old and a junior at Cesar Chavez High School, Thomas was on his way home from movie night with his family when their car was T-boned by a suspected drunk driver. All of his family members were transported to a local hospital for their injuries but Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene. Thomas was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle.

Thomas enjoyed playing football with friends.

Thomas is survived by his mother Tami J. Hernandez Montoya, siblings Jaguar, Michelle, Aagulles, and Vicente, and grandparents Maria Roja and Raul Aquirre.

A memorial service will be held at Cesar Chavez High School on April 20, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.
