Lorena Villicana

Lorena Villicana was killed April 16, 2014. Eighteen-years-old and a senior at Cesar Chavez High School, Lorena was killed in a suspected drunk driving related accident. Lorena and her siblings were on their way home from an evening movie when their car was hit head on by a car involved in a high speed chase. Lorena was thrown from her seat through the front windshield. She was pronounced dead at the scene due to her traumatic head injuries suffered from the impact of hitting the windshield. Lorena’s siblings were rushed to a local hospital were they are recovering from their injuries.

Lorena was a member of Drama, M.E.Ch.A., and CAST. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, spending time with her family and sleeping.

Lorena is survived by her parents Jose and Juana Villicana, siblings Javier, Able, and Daisy Villicana, and grandparents Hipolito Carlota Escobedo and Reyes Yolanda Villicana.

A memorial service for Lorena will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on April 22, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.

Lorena will be remembered for being outgoing, sweet and generous.
