Kristin Ann Lovelace

Kristin Ann Lovelace was killed April 16, 2014. Seventeen-years-old and a senior at Cesar Chavez High School, Kristin was involved in a suspected drunk driving related collison. Kristin and her family were on their way home from a family ice skating night when a car sped through a red light and hit their car. Kristin’s family was rushed to a near by hospital and are recovering from their injuries; however, Kristin suffered severe injuries and lost signs of life while in route to the hospital. It is suspected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and was on his phone at the time of the collision.

Kristin was an member of M.E.Ch.A., and CAST. She enjoyed playing softball, wakeboarding, riding dirt bikes and watching football with her family. Kristin had plans of attending college in the fall and becoming a nurse.

Kristin is survived by her parents Jim and Kimm Lovelace, siblings Justin and Charlene (sister-in-law) Lovelace, Dustin Lovelace, and Terra Lovelace, and grandmother Myrtle Lovelace.

A memorial service for Kristin will be held on the softball field at Cesar Chavez High School on April 20, at 10:00 a.m.

Kristin will be remembered for her good sense of humor, for being a good student and a friendly person. Her smile and warm heart will be missed by all those who knew her.
