The First Amendment

The first amendment is that students have rights everywhere. A Minnesota student was suspended for a tweet about a teacher kissing a student at school.  The student got suspended just for putting it in a tweet. The student won because the officer admitted he “erred” after the Hennepion County Attorney’s Office said they wouldn’t press any charges. They directed that Reid Sagehorn should of not gotten suspended from the school.

Kansas students express concern over profanity issued by school police. In Kansas if you say a bad word and the people hear you, you could get a ticket is of 50 dollars every time they say a bad word. The decision to discipline a high school student for giving a lewd speech at a school assembly.

Becoming citizens. It is hard to become a citizen because you have to swear you will not do nothing bad. A lot of people want to turn into citizens but they say that it is to hard to become one cause they ask them a lot of questions. The first amendment is that we have a lot of freedom in this life.
