Spiderman 2 could be the biggest game of 2023!

It is now 2023, which means fans are finally in the release year for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It is always best to temper excitement when little has been shown from a game, but Insomniac Games has earned itself a ton of goodwill with how popular and successful its Marvel Spider-Man franchise has been on PlayStation. Fans will take as little or as much information as Insomniac will give them, and the recent news that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch this fall could be as much as fans learn about the game for the foreseeable future.

The revealing

Through the 2021 PlayStation Showcase event, Insomniac Games has surprisingly announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This sequel continues the story of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the video game Spider-verse. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, where Venom will appear as one of the biggest villains that you will face later. The video trailer also shows Peter and Miles beating the villains together.

“While pushing the capabilities of the PS5 will be exciting, Insomniac is excited to create a new story for Peter and Miles in this sequel,” said Ryan Schneider (head of the strategy at Insomniac Games).

The PS5 could make Spider-Man 2’s web-swinging more fun

In previous releases in Marvel’s Spider-Man series, the game’s performance was tied to being compatible with the lower-end of technology that it was made available on. Even though players had the option to buy the last two games on PS5, the existing PS4 option meant the games could never truly shine from a performance standpoint. Coming to PS5 only means Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could make NYC feel new again with better graphics and performance, particularly when it comes to web-swinging.

The Release date

The Release date for Marvel’s Spider-man 2 is set for fall 2023, which means it’ll launch sometime between September 2023 and Nov 23, 2023. The game will release exclusively for PS5, Though we suspect it will eventually also come to Pc in the coming years after launch.
