Dodge have unveiled A brand new performance based truck to compete against Ford’s popular model Ford Raptor. The fans have been asking for more power throughout the years, Dodge are no strangers to answering them. In the late 1970’s Dodge’s Li’l Red Express was rated the quickest 0-100 mph in America. In 2004 they launched the SRT-10 with its 500hp Viper V10 engine, it hit a 154mph and a sub-5 zero to 60. But now they are pushing for more power.
Dodge themselves have stated “the all-new Ram 1500 is by far the quickest, fastest, and most powerful production truck in the world.” and they have proof of it, best in class 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds, best in class 118mph top speed, and most powerful 702hp and 650 pound-feet of torque.
Many people are familiar with Dodge’s SRT-developed, extremely high-performance, real-world proven 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 engine. Mated to a Torque-Flite 8-speed auto built to take power. Dodges engineers have programmed its calibrations specifically for the TRX and desert racing.
The Dodge Trx has many things on the exterior such as the grille, hood, and bumper build are from the Rebel and Power Wagon but provide additional airflow for the segment topping performance engine. This all with other things such as better suspension and 35in tires will help the TRX outperform all the other trucks.
