As of May 4 Elon Musk and Grimes’s first child together was born, and their child’s name is X Æ A-12 Yes you read that correctly, pronounced “X-Ash-A-12”

Now with this out in public, people questioned what the name means on over social media. Fans created theories on why did Elon choose to make this decision and what it means. As people on Reddit speculated they believed it means “X Ash Archangel Musk”.

Later Grimes finally explains what it really means on twitter, and speculations were a bit close.

• A-12 = precursor to SR-17, their favorite aircraft
• A = Archangel, her favorite song

Even if the name has some special meaning, people started to think that the name would not be able to be kept. State rules in California state that names can only use 26 alphabetical characters.
