The ‘Konami Code’, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, START, is famously known to apply cheats into Konami’s game. First used in the 1986 of the release of Gradius on the NES.

Recently the creator of the code, Kazuhisa Hashimoto, 61, unfortunately passed away. His death was confirmed by Konami’s official twitter account. The cause of his death wasn’t provided.

Kazuhisa Hashimoto was a video game producer from Konami, who gave players a way to gain superpower like ability. Now all we can remember of him is the code he left for the players, and the code being reference as an easter eggs in movies, secrets in video games, and websites.
