A new teacher is in the block for Cesar Chavez. Meet Jerick Lazaro aka Mr Lazaro. He is a very cool teacher who teaches World History and Ethnic Studies (which I had with him) and is taking Filipino American Studies next year. He has been teaching for other schools for three years, and this is the first time he is teaching High School.
He has attended San Joaquin Delta College, California State University, Sacramento, and Teachers College of San Joaquin. He represents Sac State and TCSJ here at Chavez.
In High school, he liked drawing and singing in show choir. He also participated in the Little Manila After School Program my senior year.
The Best advice any person gave him was “Make money, spend money.”
One person who doesn’t know about him is that he used to be a sushi chef.
Overall, he is a very calm and enthusiastic teacher; you should meet him someday.
