This Thursday, October 6, Cesar Chavez High School will be putting on its annual Throwdown. The annual Throwdown will be held after school in the main quad. It is a day where all the clubs come to fund-raise and sell many varieties of culture food. Fundraising is a mainstay for clubs on CCHS campus. The money collected allows clubs to do fun and exciting things throughout their year. For the past years some clubs have taken field trips off campus with money that was raised from the Throwdown. Other clubs will throw parties or have special events on campus with the money that they have raised for their club. Food, drinks, and accessories will be sold at the Throwdown. Many items can be purchased for a range of one ticket to multiple tickets depending on the item. Each ticket for the Throwdown will be 50 cents. Come out and support our school’s clubs and enjoy some amazing food from all cultures!
